Key Accounts Manager Edenvale Johannesburg
Our Retail/FMCG client in Edenvale Johannesburg is looking for a Key Accounts Manager responsible for managing and growing strategic relationships with major retail customers (e.g., Shoprite/Checkers, Pick n Pay, SPAR, Woolworths, Massmart/Game, Dis-Chem, Clicks). You must have category management experience

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or a related field ADDED BONUS BUT NOT A MUST
- 5+ years of key accounts/national accounts experience in the FMCG sector.
- Category Management experience
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Category management certification
Responsibilities
- Account Management - Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned key retail accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and the retailer.
- Negotiate annual trading terms, promotional plans, listings, and pricing agreements.
- Sales & Revenue Growth - Achieve agreed sales volume, value, and profitability targets
- Trade Marketing & Promotions - Plan, execute, and evaluate promotional activities (leaflets, in-store activations, gondola ends, co-op advertising).
- Category Management - Analyse category performance, market trends, and shopper insights using Nielsen, IRI, or retailer data.
- Forecasting & Reporting - Prepare accurate monthly sales forecasts and manage stock levels with supply chain.
