Maintenance Planner (Komatsu / Caterpillar / Liebherr / Earthmoving Equipment / HME / Mining) - CA Global Group

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a qualified local HME Maintenance Planner with extensive experience on Komatsu, Caterpillar, Liebherr or similar mining equipment to join their team on site in Ghana.

Responsibilities:

• Managing mechanical and electrical maintenance planning activities to ensure optimum operation and availability of equipment.
• Managing time and resources required to complete maintenance activities.
• Providing cost estimations for repairs to be carried out.
• Ensure sufficient spares availability for maintenance activities to be carried out successfully and timeously.
• Reporting on maintenance performance and planning activities.
• Trend analysis for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Record keeping.
• Mentoring and training of subordinates.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Diesel Mechanic / Fitter Trade Test Certificate or similar qualification.
• 5 years previous experience in maintenance planning for Komatsu, Caterpillar or Liebherr equipment on mining sites.
• Well-versed in hydraulics and able to read and interpret schematics.
• Computer literacy and CMMS skills.
• Experience mentoring and training culturally diverse teams.
• Only Ghanaian nationals will be considered.
