Legal Advisor Edenvale Gauteng
An opportunity exists for an experienced Legal Advisor to support a distribution business across commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters in local and international markets. You need exceptional skills with legal document drafting, this will be tested. You need 3 years post admission as an attorney to be taken into consideration.
Salary: R 50 000 - R 55000 MAX
Minimum Requirements
- Admitted Attorney of the High Court
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience following admission as an attorney
- Strong experience in commercial law, contract drafting, and negotiation
- Good understanding of South African legislation and exposure to cross-border legal matters
- Experience in managing legal risk, compliance, and litigation matters
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, corporate, lease, finance, confidentiality, and policy-related agreements
- Advise on legal risk, regulatory compliance, and business-impacting legal developments
- Manage litigation, disputes, legal research, reports, memos, and legal opinions
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisors to support business objectives
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines
- Practical, solutions-oriented, and commercially minded
