Are you a fast learner who enjoys solving problems and wants to be part of a small, hands-on team as a business scales nationally? We're looking for an Accountant to join a fast-growing national operation in the supply chain services space, based in Cape Town.

What you will be doing:

• Manage the full debtors function, including invoicing, collections and reconciliations
• Process supplier invoices, reconcile accounts and prepare payment schedules
• Maintain the daily cashbook and perform regular bank reconciliations
• Monitor and report on cash flow, assisting with forecasting and planning
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Assist with monthly management accounts, reporting and budgeting
• Provide general financial administrative support and assist with audits and compliance
• Scope to build modelling skills and do interesting things

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of a completed tertiary qualification in accounting or finance
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience
• Analytical and strong problem-solving skills
• Accountable, fast learner with high attention to detail
• Genuinely serious about building a long-term career in an entrepreneurial team
• Curious and willing to get stuck in as part of a small team
• Excellent MSExcel skills
• Experience with ZOHO and/or Python advantageous
