Minimum Requirements
BSc / BTech / BCom Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
Professionally registered Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) with SACQSP

Minimum Requirements
BSc / BTech / BCom Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
Professionally registered Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) with SACQSP
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong consulting quantity surveying experience
- Proven experience across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and cost planning through to final account
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management and commercial administration
- Excellent measurement, estimating and reporting capabilities
- Proficient in relevant QS software and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, negotiation and client-management skills
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional quantity surveying services across multiple projects
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets and feasibility studies
- Undertake cost planning and value engineering
- Prepare and manage tender documentation
- Evaluate tenders and provide commercial recommendations
- Conduct valuations and manage payment processes
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets
- Manage variations, claims and final accounts
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and project teams
- Provide strategic commercial advice throughout the project lifecycle
