My client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team in Phillipi, Cape Town.

Responsibilities (not limited to:)

• Ensure that there are enough Raw Materials (Sand, Stone, Cement, Slab Wire, Post Wire, Oil) available
• Checking on the quality of Raw materials
• Re-order if necessary based on current sales and stock demand
• Do month end stock takes
• In charge of the daily production meeting with Stock Supervisor and General Manager
• Ensure de-moulding and casting processes based on company policies and procedures are adhere to
• Double check on quality and work done before it leaves the production area
• Ensure the production area is clean and ready for production the next day
• Submit necessary paperwork to managers

Skills and knowledge

• At least 3 years of experience as a Production supervisor in a similar industry
• Ability to prioritize, plan and organise work
• Attention to detail
• Reliable, honest and trustworthy
• Communication and relationship building skills
• Enthusiastic and energetic
