Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Electrical Designer (E-Plan) to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing electrical control concepts for automation systems, producing detailed bills of materials, and documenting designs using E-Plan P8 software. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, applicable industry standards, and control panel design to ensure the efficient and successful execution of company projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

- Development of control concepts for Automation systems based on RFQ’s.
- Develop detailed bill of materials from control concepts.
- Document the control concept in E-Plan software.
- Continually improve design philosophy based on international and local electrical standards.
- Apply electrical principals to ensure sound operation of company projects.
Requirements:
- Matric
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Light Current) advantageous
- 3 + Years’ experience in E-Plan version P8
- Strong understanding of electrical processes and knowledge of SANS 10142
- Electrical panel building skills
- Intermediate Excel proficiency
- Driver’s License and own transport essential Flexible and able to work overtime on short notice
