Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Outdoor/Camping Sales Representative (Retail) to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection, maintaining well-organised shelves and displays, and supporting the effective management of stock and daily store operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of camping, outdoor and braai products, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for delivering a positive customer experience.

- 5 years of experience in retail sales
- Strong knowledge of camping, outdoor and braai products
- Inventory management, including monitoring stock levels, organising shelves and displays, and processing stock orders and receipts via the POS system
- Excellent communication, active listening and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and customers regarding discounts and trading terms
- Adaptable, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Computer literate with good knowledge of POS and general computer systems
