Job overview
My client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a Workshop Supervisor to join their team in Phillipi, Cape Town.
Responsibilities (not limited to:)
- Vehicle Check sheet Collection from drivers
- Vehicle service plan implemented and vehicle servicing where required
- Booking of Vehicles for service at Dealers/Service providers when required
- Vehicle Checks in person and at Random versus Driver check Sheet
- Job Cards are to be recorded for every service and repair
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly preventative maintenance checks
- General maintenance plan must be developed for all working machinery
- Allocation of maintenance checks between Workshop Supervisor and workshop assistants
- General Repairs and maintenance to buildings as and when required
Skills and knowledge
- At least 3 years of experience as a Workshop supervisor in a similar industry
- Ability to prioritize, plan and organise work
- Attention to detail
- Reliable, honest and trustworthy
- Communication and relationship building skills
- Enthusiastic and energetic
