Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and user-support issues.
  • Respond promptly to technical support requests and keep users informed of progress.
  • Provide clear technical guidance and training to users when required.
  • Document support activities, resolutions, and system changes accurately.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to maintain reliable day-to-day operations.
  • Perform system upgrades and implement improvements as required.
  • Maintain security standards across the organisation’s network infrastructure.
Technical Excellence
  • Complete assigned technical tasks under appropriate supervision while maintaining system stability.
  • Troubleshoot routine technical issues and escalate or seek guidance when necessary.
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance to support the reliable performance of technical platforms.

  • Resilient and solutions-oriented, with strong time-management and decision-making skills.
Communication and Collaboration
  • Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to colleagues, users, and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in IT.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, networking principles, and infrastructure.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Working knowledge of IT security principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Practical experience diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Microsoft certification is advantageous.
  • Relevant vendor or industry certifications, such as Microsoft, Cisco, or VMware, are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder expectations and evaluate technical options within business and budget constraints.
