An established company within the food industry is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background combined with practical knowledge and experience within the meat industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and driving sales growth within the meat and food sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Promote and sell products and services to restaurants, catering companies etc
- Understand customer requirements an provide suitable product solutions
- Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities
- Achieve agreed sales targets and objectives
- Conduct regular customer visits and maintain excellent customer service
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- Proven sales experience within the meat industry
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts
- Target driven and self-motivated
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel to customers as required
Area: Kempton Park
Salary: R 23 000 CTC + Commission
