SPIROMETRY & VISION TESTING TECHNICIAN - Shipping and Transport College (Pty) Ltd

We are seeking a motivated, professional, and detail-oriented Spirometry & Vision Testing Technician to join our Occcupational Health & Maritime Medical Clinic team.

The successful candidate will conduct spirometry and vision screening tests as part of occupational health & maritime medical assessements, ensuring accurate results, professional patient care, abd compliance wuth clinic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:-

• conduct spirometry & pulmonary function testing in accordance with applicable protocols
• perform vision screening & visual acuity as part of occupational & maritime medical examinations
• accurately record and document all test results
• prepare, maintain and check testing equipment
• maintain high standards of higiene, infection control, and patient confidentiality
• provide basic assistance to the nursing staff & medical practitioners when required
• assist with general clinic administration and patient flow when required
• provide friendly, professional, and efficient patient service
• follow applicable occupational health standards and clinic procedures

Minimum Requirements: -

• Relevant spirometry and vision testing training or certification
• Previous experience in occupational health, medical screening, or clinical environment will be advantgeous
• Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Stron attention to details and accurate record-keeping
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional, reliable, organised, and patient-focused.
