Our client, an automotive repair shop, is seeking a motivated, energetic and mechanically minded individual to join their team as a Junior Automotive Mechanic / Workshop Assistant.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for the automotive industry, a willingness to learn and develop their mechanical skills, and the ability to work hard in a hands-on workshop environment. Previous mechanical experience would be advantageous, but a positive attitude, strong work ethic and natural mechanical aptitude are essential.

- Assist with general vehicle maintenance, servicing and mechanical repairs.
- Support experienced mechanics with workshop tasks and repair work.
- Learn to identify mechanical faults and assist with basic vehicle diagnostics.
- Handle tools and workshop equipment responsibly and safely.
- Maintain a clean, neat and organised workshop.
- Follow instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrate initiative and a willingness to expand mechanical knowledge and skills.
Minimum Requirements
- A genuine passion for vehicles and the automotive industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in understanding how vehicles work.
- Some previous mechanical experience would be advantageous.
- Willingness to learn, take direction and develop practical mechanical skills.
- Good common sense and logical problem-solving abilities.
- A hardworking, proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative.
- Neat, organised and reliable, with a strong work ethic.
