Minimum Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- N4 or equivalent trade/artisan qualification
- Proficient in operating hi-tech machinery
- Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- At least 5 years of experience in an automated factory environment
Setting, Operating, and Maintaining Machinery:
- Set up and maintain plate enveloping machines according to supplier manuals.
- Operate and maintain COS machines, including mold changes and start-up procedures.
- Set up and manage Shorts Testing machines as per supplier guidelines.
- Operate and maintain TTP welding machines, including head changes per production schedule.
- Set up and manage Heat Sealing machines, including mold changes and start-up.
- Operate leak testing machines, ensuring tool changes and start-up follow supplier protocols.
- Set up and maintain Date Coding machines, ensuring accurate coding information.
- Ensure proper setup and maintenance of Post Burner equipment.
- Monitor equipment to ensure production meets quality standards and nominal rates, taking corrective action as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of all assembly line equipment.
- Ensure extraction systems and cooling water systems are in optimal working condition.
