- Ensuring robots and PLC driven machinery are correctly programmed to deliver optimally.
- Maintain all PLC Devices to ensure customer and company quality standards are met.
- Ensure that all PLC backups are done according to the company procedures
- Grade 12 and Qualified Electrician/Millwright or Technical Diploma/Degree
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a PLC Technician within an automotive environment
- Extensive working knowledge of PLC programming, Siemens TIA V3-V15, S7 300.Siemens Safety PLC programming
- Advanced programming
- Advanced PLC Control Systems
- Advanced manufacturing concepts
- Advanced IT as it relates to manufacturing and PLC control.
- Health, Safety and Environmental
- Read electronic drawings.
- Problem solving abilities.
- Communication
- Technical ability
- Fault-finding ability
