Job title: Administrative Assistant (Pretoria)
Role Purpose:
The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in delivering secretarial, clerical, and administrative support to ensure the Company operates effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Provide Office support services to ensure efficiency and effectiveness for the EXCO Team
Receive, direct and relay telephone messages and emails in the company mailbox.
Direct the public to the appropriate staff.
Travel bookings, requests, approvals & processing.
Travel insurance
Fleet control – License renewals, Services, General maintenance of fleet, Roadworthy control of fleet.
Short Term Insurance claims – Insurance correspondence for goods in transit and Company parking area control.
Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence.
Planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and conference calls.
Respond to public enquiries.
Assistance with site medicals, visa applications and work permits.
Internal and external planning and management.
Perform clerical duties
Typing of documents and drafting letters.
Develop and maintain filing system.
Co-ordinate the repair and maintenance of office equipment
Administration of vehicles/fleet
Perform personal assistant functions
Answer/redirect calls and handle enquiries where possible.
Greeting and assisting visitors.
Assist Executive teams as requested.
Provide administrative support for the Executive team.
Perform other related duties as required

Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
Advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint and Word
It may be required of incumbent to do work outside the standard reporting position, which may involve work of a different nature. These will be contracted with the incumbent
Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12 (Matric) / NQF Level 4.
Preference will be given to applicants with a NQF 5 qualification in a relevant study field.
At least 2 years related work experience.
