- Support of the CEO in all key stakeholder relationships
- Assume lead responsibility for the financial activities
- Develop the company’s Business Development capability, effectiveness and processes
- Lead and manage the company’s M&A activity
- Lead and manage relationships with capital and debt funders, insurance and legal providers
- Lead and manage the financial strategy of the company
- Responsible for developing and maintaining effective and efficient Treasury management processes and reporting
- Responsible for developing the external funding strategy and relationships that will support the growth of the business
- Responsible for overseeing the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Responsible for reporting to executive and Board structures
- Responsible for developing the Company’s Credit function
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy
- Develop and lead the project finance function
- Responsible for financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and compliance
- Implement robust financial controls
- Optimize financial processes
- Lead cashflow management
- Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize financial risk
- Identify and mitigate financial and other business risks
- Qualified CA(SA)
- Logistics industry experience desirable
- Experience in an executive financial or commercial leadership role
- Experience in M&A and other business to business transactions
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and software
