Trade Settlement Assistant

Investment team seeks a Trade Settlement Assistant to join their team. This team offers their clients a comprehensive range of financial investment and planning solutions. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity within the investment administration team of an established team and is suited to a recent accounting graduate with an interest in an opportunity within financial services.

 

 

Responsibilities: 

Place trade of shares with brokers and manage cash flow
Open script accounts
Process script transfers (equity assets/ take-ons)
Process dematerialisation of share certificates, maintain correct CGT values
Process dividends and ensure variances reconciled and resolved
Prepare and collate daily and monthly payments, ensure authorisation
Support for colleagues, as required

 

Requirements: 

Minimum of a completed BCom Accounting or similar qualification
Previous experience in a similar role would be preferable
Must be computer literate, with a good level of MS Excel skills (Intermediate)
Deadline driven and good team player
Highly numerate with a keen eye for detail
Able to work extra time over quarter end as required
