EMT Coordinator typically refers to an Early Management Team (EMT) Coordinator. This role is crucial in the pre-production and early stages of new vehicle or component launches. The EMT Coordinator ensures that all necessary parts, processes, and systems are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Chair local EMT meetings, identify risk parts, and coordinate actions with stakeholders.
- Represent the Group in CKD EMT meetings, escalate open points, and follow up with WOB counterparts.
- Prepare and distribute part readiness reports for new vehicle projects using PROMON/TEVON systems.
- Monitor and ensure parts meet milestone release requirements, handling status releases and deviations.
- Update and distribute project reports (Vorlage) for Pilot Halls, TPPA, and local forums.
- Verify EBON/Scheduling agreements, Quality, and Engineering approvals before handover to material control.
- Analyze and resolve part deviations related to build milestones.
- Investigate and resolve data queries for part releases and vehicle specifications.
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering, Production Management, or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum of 3 years in an automotive logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, PEP process for new model/component introduction, and Tevon system (including Promon reporting tool).
