- Act as a "flying doctor" for on-site technical assessments and escalated vehicle repairs.
- Travel at short notice to address complex vehicle issues at local dealers and Sub-Saharan Importers.
- Conduct root-cause analysis of vehicle problems and contribute to dealer training content.
- Ensure optimal diagnosis methods and repair quality standards within the Dealer Network.
- Perform 3-4 day compliance audits at dealers, monitoring adherence to Group Aftersales processes.
- Collaborate with Dealer Management to implement corrective actions for underperforming dealers.
- Address training needs for dealer workshop staff to enhance technical capabilities.
- Manage escalated customer concerns and ensure compliance with single incident reporting.
- Develop and coach dealer personnel on Technical Core Process compliance.
- Minimum 5 years in a motor industry technical services environment, with 2+ years handling automotive product support and customer service.
- Degree or National Diploma in Engineering, or Diploma/Degree in Operations Management with a Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate and Master Technician Certificate.
- Expertise in product knowledge, after-sales systems, diagnostics, and warranty processes.
- Familiarity with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and dealer workshop processes.
- Strong problem-solving, customer service, and strategy formulation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Group systems.
