Email Campaign Specialist

We are looking for an Email Campaign Specialist in Cape Town with experience in email campaign management and some technical skills in HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Figma. You must have solid client management and traffic management experience. You should also be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and have the ability to work under pressure.

Salary: R45 000 – R55 000 pm

Area:     Hybrid in Cape Town (Office in Southern Suburbs)

 

Responsibilities:

Campaign management

• Manage deadlines and campaign requirements together with Creative Execution (primary) and QA campaign canvases (secondary)

Campaign design

• Customise and deploy HTML email templates throughout the production cycle (primary)
• Provide support for push and inapp campaigns (secondary)
• Design (using the design template) and Code responsive text and image-based emails for various promotional, life cycle, and transactional campaigns using the HTML and CSS email oriented best practices – with a focus on code reusability.
• Organise and coordinate digital assets for email campaigns, updating existing HTML templates or creating new ones.
• Ensure every email campaign is of the highest quality and aligned with the visions and goals of key stakeholders.
• Work closely with the existing team to suggest methods of improvement, assist with difficult aspects of campaigns, and create and present intermittent reports pertaining to the email team.

• Live in Cape Town (office located in Southern Suburbs)
• Set up to work from home when required
• Ability to comfortably edit and customise HTML
• Ability to work with Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma
• Prior experience in email campaign management/traffic management
• Experience in client management
• Strong time management
• Actively wants to collaborate
• Ability to work under pressure
• Interested in streaming video, local entertainment, sport
