Qualifications / Requirements:
• National Diploma in Industrial Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Production Management/Operations Management
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in a Production environment
Essential:
• Ability to compile detailed investment studies and project control plans
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, layouts and assembly facilities

• Excellent insight into product engineering, process and mechanical planning, industrial engineering, logistics, manufacturing and production systems
• Ability to specify exact requirements of equipment, technologies and tools required to manufacture vehicles in Assembly
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Computer Literacy (MS Office including Projects)
• Business systems knowledge would be advantageous i.e. Hyper KVS, SAP Process System, PSSL, Arbeits Plan, LOGNET, Ti-Rex, IFA (Sorten), MB(TiTAN)
• Assertiveness, decision making, facilitation and negotiation skills

• Proven analytical and innovative approach to problem solving
• Excellent administration skills (including report writing, presentation skills)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Be prepared to travel local and abroad so and when required

Key Performance Areas:
• Investigate, plan and coordinate the development, testing and introduction of process materials
• Investigate, plan and coordinate processes relating to manufacturing of facilities, purchasing of equipment and products
• Arrange, plan and coordinate the introduction of new product models
• Initiate the introduction process changes on specific models
