- Operate with Precision: Safely operate a Code 14 vehicle, towing various vehicles to local destinations. Ensuring vehicles are transported with the highest level of care is a key responsibility.
- Navigate with Expertise: Take charge of local routes, guaranteeing vehicles are delivered efficiently and on time, while managing all related logistics.
- Hands-On Approach: Load, secure, and unload vehicles, ensuring each one reaches its destination without issue. Attention to detail is essential in maintaining safety and minimizing risk.
- Problem Solver: Maintain the vehicle and towing equipment in peak condition, reporting any maintenance needs to ensure smooth operations.
- Brand Ambassador: Communicate effectively with customers, representing the company with professionalism and reliability.
- Flexibility on the Road: While most trips are local, there may be occasional overnight stays for longer journeys, offering variety and new challenges.
- Safety First: Adhere to all safety protocols while on the road, ensuring all regulations are followed and the vehicles are transported safely.
- Valid Code 14 Driver’s License: A valid Code 14 license is essential for this role.
- Towing Expertise: At least 1 to 2 years of experience in towing, vehicle transportation, or operating heavy vehicles.
- Route Familiarity: Deep knowledge of local road networks and efficient navigation.
- Self-Reliance: Ability to work independently and manage all aspects of the journey with minimal supervision.
- Clear Communicator: Capable of engaging with customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Flexibility: Willingness to occasionally stay overnight for trips as required.
- Experience in Recovery: Prior experience in towing or vehicle recovery is a plus.
- Basic Mechanical Knowledge: Ability to perform minor vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with GPS systems and route planning tools would be an advantage.
