Supervisor: Electrical (Maritime/Yacht Building

ENVIRONMENT:

A forward-thinking & solutions-driven Supervisor: Electrical, is sought by a dynamic Project Management company in the Yacht Building industry in the Netherlands. You will be to review the Engineering packages from all disciplines and, based on specific and in-depth technical knowledge of your expertise, you will advise Project Development and Supply Chain Management on work demarcation. You will require a Higher Vocational Education or Secondary Vocational Education with relevant work experience (MBO+) of at least 5 years’ experience, preferably in Maritime industry and/or Yacht Building industry.

DUTIES:

• Dedicated to and has in-depth expertise in a single technical discipline. We distinguish the disciplines Interior, Machinery, Outfit, Systems, Construction and Electrical & Automation.
• Review the Engineering packages from all disciplines as required with regards to liaise with Engineering team members.
• Coordinate the work packages related to your discipline.
• Monitor and report on progress.
• During the building process, monitor, manage and control the quality of executed work, equipment and installations to ensure that we meet the client desired high-quality expectations.
• Identify possible improvements (in work packages and/or processes) and discuss them with Horizontal Organisation.
• Check availability and quality of incoming materials and equipment.
• Work in aligned co-makerships with partners and see and realize possible synergies based on your expertise and mutual respect.
• Educate and instruct third parties.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher Vocational Education or Secondary Vocational Education with relevant work experience (MBO+) related in the due discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience preferably in Maritime industry and/or Yacht Building industry.
• Knowledge of MS office applications.
• A good command of written and spoken English.
