In this role, you will:
  • Lead the execution of innovative brand awareness campaigns to boost market presence.
  • Monitor and drive sales activities within the region to achieve targets and ensure profitability.
  • Ensure that warranty claims are handled according to company standards, safeguarding business interests.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to assess performance and strategize improvements.
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with key customers and regional partners, fostering trust and collaboration.
You will also:
  • Take charge of distribution, warehousing, and logistics operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
  • Oversee monthly stock counts, track variances, and implement corrective actions to address discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures while optimizing operational efficiency.
As part of your business development efforts, you will:
  • Develop and execute strategies to retain and grow business in the region, ensuring long-term success.
  • Identify new business opportunities by building relationships with potential dealers and distributors.
  • Drive product development ideas and improvements based on customer and market insights.
In governance and risk management, you will:
  • Safeguard the integrity of business operations by ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulations.
  • Proactively manage and mitigate risks, keeping the team and company protected.
  • Respond to audit findings, ensuring that corrective actions are swiftly implemented and compliance is maintained.
You will:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage customer concerns and resolve issues promptly, always upholding the company's values.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve common goals while adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
In people management, you will:
  • Foster a culture of growth by providing regular feedback and coaching to your team.
  • Identify training needs and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Ensure that HR policies are adhered to and employee relations are managed effectively.
Additionally, you will:
  • Contribute to the preparation and management of the regional budget.
  • Monitor financial performance, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently and costs are kept in check.
  • Explore cost-saving opportunities to drive financial sustainability within the region.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field (NQF 7)
  • Advantageous: Bachelor’s Honours Degree (NQF 8)
Experience:
  • Minimum: 6-8 years in Sales and Marketing within the Manufacturing sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Skills and Competencies:
  • Expertise in MS Office, SAP, ERP Systems, and Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and drive results.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
