B2C Accountant

An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Accountant to join my client at their offices located in Cape Town CBD,  and play a key role in managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations within the logistics industry. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial and tax management to support informed decision-making and financial integrity. The ideal incumbent will be detail-focused and professional with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and reconciliations
• Process transactions, including invoicing, payments, and payroll
• Prepare financial reports and budgets
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Support audits and prepare tax returns
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and oversee payment processes
• Collaborate with teams to align financial processes and improve performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (SAIPA certification preferred)
• Min 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel
