Our client a cold store company is urgently looking for the expertise of a Refrigeration Assistant Technician with ammonia qualifications.
Experience:
- Three to five years’ experience and should be sufficient working with ammonia refrigeration.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Attending to breakdowns
- Maintaining the ammonia plant, oil changes, checking leaks, check and report operation of control on the maintenance system
- Check valves for suction, liquid, and hot gas line
- Installation of compressors
- Replacing coupling and bearing drives
- Servicing and installation of condensers and evaporators
- Assisting in planning
- General maintenance: gluing PVC pipes, cleaning filters, washing coils
- Commissioning of simplex and multiplex units
- Some Electrical exposure
- Arc welding and brazing
- Pressure testing
