Qualified Electrician

Our client a cold storage company is urgently looking for the expertise of a qualified Electrician with good working knowledge of maintenance and fault finding.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Repair and replace wiring.
• Read blueprints and schematics.
• Document repairs and modifications.
• Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues.
• Inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Stay apprised of relevant legislation, building and safety regulations.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Electrician Qualifications/Skills
• Ability to run conduit. Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers.
• Good communication skills.
• Use of testing equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements:

• Red seal certification
• 3 + years industrial experience
• Driver’s license with own vehicle
