Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all site-based quantity surveying activities, ensuring project delivery within budget and timelines.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, valuations, and financial reports for the project.
• Manage procurement, tendering processes, and contract administration.
• Conduct cost analysis, monitor project variations, and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and heritage specialists to uphold the historic integrity of the building.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations, standards, and heritage preservation guidelines.
• Regularly report progress to stakeholders, including financial updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• 3+ years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably with exposure to heritage or restoration projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and cost management.
• Proficiency in QS software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail and an appreciation for historic preservation.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative site environment.
