As the WordPress Developer you will be responsible for building and maintaining WordPress-based websites You will work on everything from designing visually appealing pages based on Figma files to coding backend functionality using PHP MySQL and JavaScript You will also troubleshoot any issues optimize websites for SEO and ensure security best practices

Minimum Requirements Essential Skills  
Setup to work in a fully remote capacity  
Proven experience as a WordPress developer with strong front-end and back-end capabilities  
Proficiency in front-end technologies including CSS3 JavaScript HTML5 Laravel php and jQuery  
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development WordPress file structure and theme plugin development  
Experienced in using WP Bakery Visual Composer Laravel and Figma  
Knowledge of e-commerce integration in WordPress  
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve WordPress issues efficiently  
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work to deadlines  
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions as part of a team  
Familiarity with website maintenance protocols and best practices  

Responsibilities  
Collaborate with the web development team to refine website architecture for enhanced performance and aesthetics  
Customise and maintain WordPress sites ensuring seamless integration with other front-end and back-end technologies  
Use Figma designs to develop responsive visually appealing website interfaces  
Implement and modify WordPress themes and plugins using PHP CSS HTML5 JavaScript and jQuery  
Manage website data with MySQL ensuring efficient database integration  
Conduct routine website maintenance including updates security checks and troubleshooting  
Interact with RESTful APIs for integration of various services and ensure data integrity across the system  
Address and resolve issues related to both the front-end and back-end of WordPress sites ensuring optimal performance and user experience  
Work independently managing time and projects effectively with minimal supervision  
Pro-active with finding fixing issues and keeping customers up to date  
Experienced in technical SEO and solving a range of technical SEO indexing crawling and various performance issues and spotting opportunities  
Experienced in e-commerce and understanding e-commerce workflows and risks
