Are you a passionate and experienced leader in the food and beverage industry? Do you thrive in creating unforgettable dining experiences? Our client, a boutique hotel in Port Elizabeth is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager. 
 
Possible duties:
  • Oversee all food and beverage operations within the hotel, including the restaurant, bar, room service, and event catering.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of F&B professionals to deliver outstanding service.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design innovative menus that reflect the hotel’s brand and appeal to guests.
  • Manage inventory, suppliers, and procurement to ensure optimal stock levels and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food quality standards.
  • Drive profitability by analyzing sales trends, setting budgets, and implementing strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Plan and execute special events, promotions, and seasonal offerings to enhance guest experiences.
  • Build strong relationships with guests, handling feedback and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Monitor and improve operational efficiency through effective scheduling, staff allocation, and resource management.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial and performance reports to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or similar leadership role in a high-end or boutique hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, cost control, and guest service standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in F&B management software and financial reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of local and international food and beverage trends.
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
