Job Description
I have an excellent opportunity for a senior financial manager to lead a decent sized team and be an integral part of the company's finance department, reviewing and creating policies and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures. if you have excellent analytical and problem solving abilities and strong organisational and time management skills, this could be the job for you.
Responsibilities:
- Financial analysis and forecasting to assess budget performance
- Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts
- Monitor cash flow operations and bank reconciliation's identifying opportunities for cash flow improvement
- Review department expenses and identifying areas of cost overruns or inefficiencies
- Annual budget development and preparation
- Oversee the development of the company’s finance department including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting and training
Requirements:
- CA(SA) or completed CIMA qualification
- 5 years experience in a financial role within a retail or FMCG environment
- At least 2 years in a Financial Management position
- Experience in financial modelling
- Strong understanding of Tax filing requirements
