Accountant

Property management and investment company seeking assistance of a qualified temp Accountant to join their dynamic team. If you are detail orientated, enjoy working with numbers and looking for a temporary assignment, this job is for you! Asap start.

 

Responsibilities: 

• Bookkeeping to trial balance for various separate companies that form part of a bigger group
• Manage intercompany accounts ensure they are maintained and reconciled monthly 
• Reconcile Creditors and Debtors 
• Reconcile rental schedules from Payprop to Pastel
• Bank Recons
• VAT returns
• Maintain tenant accounts on Payprop, load leases, adjust tenant accounts 
• Ensure debit and credit note request forms are maintained per Company Policies
• Reconcile payments in Payprop
• Manage arrears schedules

Requirements: 

• Minimum of a completed tertiary qualification in Financial Accounting or similar 
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, assistant accountant
• Previous experience working with Pastel/Pastel Partner, Excel and Outlook 
• Detail orientated, committed 
• Able to work well within a team 
• Able to commit to a 3 month contract
