My client in the Wholesale Bakery Industry, is looking for a General Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

Managing the whole business

• Responsible for all the departments – Admin, Receiving/Dispatch, Sales, QC and Production
• Reporting directly to the Managing Director
• Responsible for sales and identifying and contacting potential business partners, vendors, and suppliers
• Meeting planned sales goals and targets
• Establishing new and existing long-term business relationships
• Reviewing sales figures and performances in the sales.
• Analysing and developing strategies to maximize sales in the company.
• Attending trade shows, meetings, and networking events
• Supervising and reviewing employee’s performance
• Reviewing sales KPIs and preparing sales report.
• Maintaining a record of all accounts payable and receivable

 Experience required:

• Grade 12
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand Afrikaans & English
• Minimum 5 years extensive General management and Sales experience in the Food industry
• Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
• Experience in customer relationship management
• Experience managing and directing a sales team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Dedication to providing great customer service
