Senior Accountant

Seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee and control my global clients' financials'. You will be responsible for IFRS compliance, managing internal processes, preparing and producing audit reports and maintaining the general ledger. Responsibilities: 

• Verify compliance with IFRS standards and internal finance policies
• Manage internal transactions as stated by Transfer Pricing Policy
• Liaise with regional service providers, verify filing of statutory local returns, done correctly and timeously
• Complete monthly balance sheet recons and produce balance sheet analysis
• Identify areas of development and improvement of processes, maintaining internal controls 
• Assist with tax audits and produce tax returns, assist with annual audit preparation
• Produce quarterly tax effect accounting
• Look into and solve audit findings, discrepancies, and non-compliance
• Produce financial analyses and reports
• Accurately maintain general ledger
• Assist Group Financial Controller with reports
• Liaise with Administration Officers and Regional Operation Managers
• Mentor junior finance staff

Requirements: 

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar, together with relevant Professional Registration
• Minimum of 5 years senior experience, in mid-sized companies, experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close processes
• Solid knowledge of IFRS
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel (knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred)
