- Install new process control systems per company standards.
- Conduct loop checks, calibration, and field hardware maintenance.
- Review and optimize process control philosophies.
- Regularly audit and update process control programs according to ISO procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including installation drawings, P&IDs, loop identification, and tagging.
- Coordinate machine output to optimize line performance.
- Ensure proper access control and maintain system backups.
- Perform fault finding and optimize electronic equipment, including PLC programming.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement workplace improvements.
- Train and coach production staff, artisans, and machine operators.
- Supervise and manage staff to meet production and asset optimization targets.
- Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
- N4-N5 equivalent in Electrical/Electronic qualification (NQF 5).
- Trade certification as an Electrician/Electronic Technician equivalent to N5.
- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment with 2+ years of Siemens software programming.
- Experience with various PLC systems, including Siemens S5 and S7.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of health, safety standards, and effective housekeeping principles.
- Ability to assist production controllers in troubleshooting machinery.
- Capable of functioning independently and within a team environment.
- Proficient in administrative and supervisory duties.
- Self-starter with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Focused on achieving production targets and ensuring equipment optimization.
- Skilled in training and developing team capabilities.
