- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance for packaging line machinery and related equipment.
- Enhance machine efficiency and overall equipment performance.
- Contribute to maintenance budgeting and optimize spares usage and costs.
- Manage and supervise staff, ensuring performance management and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Oversee equipment shutdowns, smaller projects, and packaging line improvements.
- Drive E2 (World Class) practices with a focus on Asset Care (5S, VM, TW, FI).
- Ensure job cards are effectively managed in coordination with the Planning office.
- Audit process controls, ensuring ISO-compliant changes.
- Optimize machine output to enhance overall line performance.
- Participate in operational system activities and perform relevant administrative functions.
- Train and coach Production Controllers, Artisans, Machine Controllers, and Operators.
- Recognized N6 Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Certificate and a Trade Test Certificate.
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience, with 3 years managing a team.
- Knowledge of bottling/packaging equipment, workshop tools, and engineering practices.
- Experience in the FMCG environment is advantageous.
- Proficient in SAP, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
- Sound knowledge of safety regulations related to tools and equipment.
- Skilled in workshop tools, machines, and materials handling.
