Our client is urgently looking for the expertise of a Fleet Controller for their Cold Storage Department. The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations and Logistics Director & Cold Store Manager
Job Summary: Fleet Controller
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Computer literate (proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite).
- Administrative experience.
- Understanding of trucks & parts and tracker systems.
- Dealing with drivers.
- Tracker experience.
- Driver’s license.
Soft Skills:

- Ability to work independently while being a team player.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Energetic and enthusiastic.
Main Duties/Key Results Areas:
- Fleet Management.
- Giving drivers instructions.
- Completing drivers trip sheets.
- Checking drivers trip sheets.
- Checking time sheets.
- Maintaining fleet.
- Complete information on fleet report.
- Maintain departmental compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure departmental adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage other employees.
- Schedule, route, maintain, and track transport vehicles.
- Negotiate with suppliers.
- Employed in a position of trust as may receive cash payments from cash customers from time to time.
- Resolve disputes.
- Analyse the effectiveness of operations.
- Implement and enforce transportation scheduling and policy changes.
- All other tasks and related duties as expected from the employer from time to time.

- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Manager or Director, in alignment with the skills and experience required for the role.
