New role is available for a Business Partnering Technical Manager role in the Human Resources Division for our client in the Automotive Industry, based in Kariega.
 
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the Production, Logistics, and Quality operations, as well as lead a team of Business Partners. The role involves managing the development and implementation of strategies related to organizational design and transformation within these areas. Additionally, the position is responsible for coordinating and supervising departmental activities to ensure the delivery of proactive and comprehensive human resource services. This will be achieved through the effective application of Personnel Management, Training and Development, and Industrial Relations practices, fostering positive and harmonious employer-employee relations.

Duties:
  • Manage Human Resources services for the Production, Logistics, and Quality functions, ensuring effective deployment of front-line Business Partners at the Plant.
  • Provide consultation, advice, and guidance to all levels of Top Management, Management, Employees, and the Union on IR strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Support the auditing processes, evaluate, and implement corrective actions on relevant HR processes, policies, procedures, and agreements to ensure consistent and accurate implementation by HR Management.
  • Conduct performance management for team members, providing opportunities, motivation, and guidance to help them reach their full potential within the HR Division.
  • Ensure the proper application of performance management processes in Production, Logistics, and Quality and facilitate moderation sessions within the Division.
  • Advise, guide, and coach HR Business Partners on Employee Relations and Personnel issues to deliver an efficient and effective HR service to all stakeholders.
  • Plan, organize, and delegate work and team activities in consultation with the team to ensure timely and quality results while optimizing resource usage.
  • Advise Management on organizational/departmental planning and structuring, and drive processes that align with achieving company goals.
  • Critically evaluate HR operational processes, recommend corrective actions in consultation with relevant parties, and oversee the implementation to enhance HR service productivity and efficiency.
  • Consult with all levels of management, the Union, and employees on the implementation, understanding, and application of HR strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to guidelines and agreements.
  • Introduce and monitor effective HR metrics to track performance delivery and KPIs.
  • Drive the implementation of the Transformation Strategy to ensure compliance with company and legal requirements, meeting current legislation.
Requirements:
  • A relevant Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 10 years plus work experience in a broad range of HR practices such as Personnel, Employee and Industrial Relations
  • 2 Years at Management Level
