Site Manager – Residential & Commercial Construction (Northern Suburbs, Cape Town)

A well-established construction company is seeking a Site Manager to oversee residential and commercial building projects in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. The successful candidate will report to the Site Agent and Contracts Manager and will be responsible for managing subcontractors and labor on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all site activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
• Supervise subcontractors and labor, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project specifications.
• Collaborate with the Site Agent and Contracts Manager to address challenges and report on project progress.
• Ensure proper resource allocation, including materials, equipment, and labor.
• Conduct site inspections to maintain quality control and compliance with project plans.
• Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential and commercial construction.
• Building qualification preferred 
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of construction health and safety regulations.
