Creditors & Procurement Clerk Aeroton Johannesburg Gauteng

Our client in supply chain and warehousing is looking for a junior person for a Creditors & Procurement Clerk position to do supplier payments (small amounts), creditor reconciliations, procurement, and purchasing (low volume). The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background with experience in accounts payable and supplier management, along with the ability to source and negotiate pricing with suppliers.

Salary: R15,000 CTC per month

 Requirements & Qualifications:

Matric + Diploma or relevant experience in Finance, Procurement, or Supply Chain.

1-3 years’ experience in creditors and/or procurement (Small amounts)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Pastel, SAP, Xero, etc.).

Responsibilities:

Creditors & Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time.

Perform creditors reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain up-to-date supplier accounts and ensure payments align with agreed terms.

Procurement & Supplier Management – Assist to source & negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing.

Raise and manage purchase orders to ensure stock availability.

Coordinate with warehouse suppliers to assist with inventory and deliveries.

Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure contracts are in order.
