The Machine Lubrication Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the lubrication and basic maintenance of machinery to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime. This role involves working closely with the maintenance team to carry out routine checks, apply lubricants, and keep detailed records of maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the scheduled lubrication of machines, bearings, gears, and other mechanical parts.
- Monitor and replenish lubricant levels as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of lubrication activities and schedules.
- Report any irregularities or potential issues to maintenance supervisors.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of lubricants and tools.
- Comply with all safety standards and company procedures.
- Matric
- Mechanical knowledge or prior experience in an industrial environment preferred.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting/moving equipment and supplies as needed.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
