Procurement Specialist

Job Description

A leading skincare brand, both locally and internationally are, looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial CA(SA) to take up the role of Procurement Specialist based in Durban. If you enjoy deal making and working closely with all relevant stakeholders, are able to solve complex problems with simple solutions this role is for you. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• Liaise between the formulations department and manufacturing team
• Take ownership of procuring raw materials 
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Optimise costs and implement systems and processes that can scale easily 

Requirements: 

• Qualification: CA (SA) 
• 3-5 years experience 
• Strong negotiation skills 
• Exceptional interpersonal skills 
• Good verbal and written communication 
• Inquisitive with a knack for solving complex problems 
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
