FP&A Specialist

Job Description

My client is an established service provider based in Cape Town, Northern Suburbs seeking a qualified and analytical FP&A Specialist with proven IFRS expertise. This strategic role combines financial consolidation oversight with business partnering, requiring Strong modelling skills and systems knowledge to deliver actionable insights in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the consolidation of financial statements across multiple business unit
• Drive Group IFRS specific projects and co-ordinate sign-off with auditors in respect of technical accounting opinions
• Maintain and update Group technical accounting frameworks, standards, policies and processes in line with industry standards and regulations
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts
• Lead the preparation of financial reports
• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
• Analyze and prepare financial performance against budgets and forecasts
• Streamline financial reporting and consolidation processes
• Support external audits and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data within reporting systems

Requirements:

• CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent finance qualification
• BCom Accounting or finance related degree
• Minimum 2-5 years in financial planning & analysis, management reporting, and financial consolidation
• Knowledge of group consolidation and reporting experience, essential
• Strong experience with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS excel
