Responsibilities:

    • Driving the company’s growth strategy by proactively sourcing, securing and developing new business opportunities across the sector.
    • Nurturing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
    • Preparing taylor made technical and commercial proposals of the highest quality, including pricing strategies, according to client needs.
    • Maintaining and managing customer information through the use of CRM tools.
    • Working with internal teams to ensure business development strategies and proposal development aligns.
    • Taking charge of negotiations with possible customers, ensuring favourable contract terms for the company.
    • Serving as company representative at industry events, conferences, meetings and trade shows across the region.
    • Regular reporting on business development pipelines, activities and insights.

 

 

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering or similar relevant field.
    • MBA advantageous.
    • Fluent English communication skills with proficiency in French and / or Arabic advantageous.
    • 10+ years’ experience in business development within the mining / mineral processing sector, with at least 5 years at management level across the MENA region.
    • Existing client network within the mining or minerals processing sector.
    • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM.
    • Commercially astute, with the ability to develop competitive pricing models and strategic proposals.
    • Hunter mindset who actively works to identify potential opportunities, nurture existing clients and develop new relationships.
    • Self-motivated and results-driven deal closer with strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience in culturally diverse environments and able to adapt to and navigate complex business environments.
    • Frequent travel across the region.
    • Applicants based in Saudi Arabia will be preferred.
