We are seeking a Junior Site Mechanical Engineer / Planner to join our Clients dynamic team in Mozambique.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified engineer eager to develop their skills in a real-world construction environment while also gaining valuable planning and administrative exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Support (On-Site):
- Assist with day-to-day site engineering tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Monitor and support construction activities to ensure they align with engineering specifications and safety standards.
- Participate in inspections and technical problem-solving.
- Support the project planning team with administrative tasks including progress tracking, schedule updates, and documentation.
- Assist in preparing reports, compiling data, and maintaining accurate project records.
- Help update project schedules, and ensure timely communication between departments.
- Mechanical Engineering qualification (Degree or Diploma).
- 2 – 3 years work experience.
- A valid passport (travel is required).
- Willingness to be based on-site in Mozambique until completion of tasks/responsibilities.
- Strong interest in gaining practical site experience and exposure.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a team player.
