DUTIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust analytics services and APIs that serve Marketplace data.
- Collaborate with team members to define and implement scalable data pipelines and analytics features.
- Integrate Machine Learning models into production systems to enhance features such as demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, personalization, fraud detection, and recommendation engines.
- Operationalize AI models, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability in real-world applications.
- Develop monitoring and feedback mechanisms to track model performance, retraining needs, and data drift.
- Engineer end-to-end solutions that combine real-time and batch processing to deliver actionable insights at scale.
- Ensure high availability and performance of analytics services in a production environment.
- Participate in architecture discussions and strategic planning around data services, Marketplace intelligence tools, and AI capabilities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience/Skills –
- 5+ Years of professional experience in Backend Development, Data Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in modern backend languages such as Python.
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed data systems (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Redshift, BigQuery).
- Familiarity with data visualization and dashboarding libraries (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
- Solid understanding of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
Nice to haves –
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- React experience.
- Experience in eCommerce or Marketplace Analytics.
- Background in Machine Learning or Statistical Modeling.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio.
