Our client is seeking a Qualified Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic with specialized experience in the building and assembly of cabs for heavy earthmoving machinery. This is a hands-on role ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong mechanical background and a passion for precision engineering.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and install cabs on heavy earthmoving machines according to technical specifications.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues related to cab systems.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to improve cab design and assembly processes.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Trade qualification as a Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic or equivalent.
• Proven experience in cab assembly for heavy machinery.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own reliable transport (preferred).

Salary: Market related (negotiable based on experience).
