A rapidly growing UK-based investment company is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Full-Stack Web Developer to join their team. You'll be responsible for building and maintaining responsive, high-performance websites that combine sleek UI with reliable functionality. You’ll work closely with designers, project managers, and tech teams to ensure the company’s digital platforms remain visually compelling, technically sound, and optimized for user experience and SEO. If you’re a full-stack developer with a flair for clean code, cross-platform responsiveness, and modern web practices, this role is for you.

Minimum Requirements:
3 - 5 years’ experience as a Website Developer or similar role
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)
Exposure to back-end languages like PHP, Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails
Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Joomla, Shopify)
Working knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB)
Familiar with RESTful APIs and third-party system integrations
Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and Google Analytics
Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, or GitLab)
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setup
Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and time management skills

Bonus Skills:
Experience developing eCommerce websites - WooCommerce, Magento and Shopify
Exposure to Python Plotly
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Understanding of UI/UX best practices and agile methodologies

What you’ll need Tech-wise:
Laptop/Desktop: Intel i7/i9 or AMD Ryzen 7/9, 16–32GB RAM, 512GB+ SSD
Second monitor strongly recommended for efficient coding/debugging
Internet: Fibre connection (min. 50–100 Mbps)
Loadshedding Backup: UPS or inverter recommended
Secondary LTE/5G router for internet redundancy

Duties and Responsibilities:
Website Development & Maintenance
Build, test, and maintain responsive, user-friendly websites across desktop and mobile devices
Ensure consistent performance, speed, and reliability across all platforms
Team Collaboration
Work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to implement features and improvements
Participate in planning sessions to translate business needs into digital solutions
Clean & Scalable Code
Write well-structured, maintainable, and reusable code using best practices
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility compliance
Performance Optimization
Monitor and improve website load times and overall performance metrics
Troubleshoot bugs, resolve errors, and conduct regular quality checks
Security & Compliance
Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard web applications
Apply necessary patches, backups, and software updates
SEO & Analytics
Apply SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings
Support integration of analytics tools like Google Analytics and tag managers
Third-Party Integrations & APIs
Integrate RESTful APIs and external services where needed
Ensure smooth functionality across eCommerce platforms and CMS systems
Continuous Learning
Stay updated with the latest web technologies, frameworks, and industry trends
Proactively suggest improvements or modernizations to current systems
