Financial Accountant

Job Description

My client, a boutique international firm, is seeking an ambitious Financial Accountant who is capable to support the group through taking ownership of administrations for their clients. The role reports into the Finance Manager whilst working alongside a finance team.

 

Responsibilities:

• Taking ownership of administration for clients whilst taking a supporting role in the development of workflows
• Responsible for providing insight in the client administration
• In close co-operation with the finance manager, you will determine and agree priorities for clients in the matter of accounting and reporting requirements
• Ensure availability of high quality and transparent financial reports timely and consistent periodic reporting
• Prepare periodic financial reports for clients in co-operation with the finance manager
• Work closely with the finance manager and account managers and other professionals such as local directors, compliance professionals and external parties

Requirements:

• Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles
• Experience with data-analysis tools such as Excel (pivot tables) and/or Power BI are a plus
• Knowledge of bookkeeping software (such as Exact Online, Xero or Quickbooks) is a must
• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and fund accounting is a plus
